Indy Press Editor-in-Chief, John Dare Okafor has been shortlisted as one of the finalists in the 5th edition of the Campus Journalism Awards. Mr. Okafor, a final year student of Counselling and  Human Development Studies at the University of  Ibadan was nominated in the Editor’s category, with two others. Expressing his delight at the recent feat, Mr. Okafor noted that his win brought the feeling of honour he does not take for granted. 

“I feel honoured among other campus journalists in Nigeria to be nominated for the News Digest Campus Journalism Awards 2022. It is one I do not take for  granted.” 

“This is a testament to the fact that there is still more work to be done, more stories to be chased and more impact to be made” Mr. Okafor added. 

Indy Press Politics Editor, Adebayo Abdulrahman, alongside Abdulrahman  Uthman and Olanshile Ogunrinu all of who are students at the University of  Ibadan were shortlisted as Feature Writer, Investigative Reporter, and Upcoming  Writer respectively.
