The Katanga Elite football League(KEFA) is set to begin on Friday, the 5th of May. The competition which is popularly known as the inter-floor championship is the holy grail of sports competitions in the hall, and of course, the reason is not far-fetched, as the competition always thrills with beautiful and physical football, mouth-gaping dribbles, and mouth-watering prizes.
Last session, D-block emerged champions, but some of their best legs have already graduated. As such, other floors can fancy their chances at winning the event this time. Ahead of the competition, the Sports Secretary Jesubiyi Damilare asserted that this year, the organizers would be strict with the team registration, and every team would have an level playing ground.
“The competition is going to go well, and there will be equal ground for every team. This season, there will be a team of the round. In round 1, there will be a team of the round, it will also be the same in round two,” Damilare told Indy Press.
The Prizes are expected to be announced during the week.
