Seven Indy Press Journalists have on Saturday, 06 May 2023 been bestowed awards of excellence, as the ultimate awardees for various categories at the Dinner Ceremony, yearly convened by the Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan.

Members of Indypress Organisation who were announced as the ultimate recipients of the different categories were Best News Reporter Award, Aduwo Ayodele; Best Political Writer, Timileyin Precious; Best Features Writer, Abdul Habeeb Akorede; Best Investigative Reporter, Adebayo Abdulrahman; Best Sports Writer, Kelvin Omachonu; Most Outstanding Female Campus Journalist, Tolulope Ayeye; Best Campus Journalist, and Best Graduating Editor-in-Chief, John Dare Okafor.

The individual awards to these student journalists were in recognition of their unrivaled performances in their respective categories.
