The 10th Assembly, Students’ Representative Council, University of Ibadan has announced the first plenary sitting in the new academic session.

The ordinary sitting has been scheduled to hold on Saturday, 2nd September, 2023 at the SRC Chambers, Kunle Adepeju Building, University of Ibadan will commence by 9:00am prompt.

As seen in the notification for the sitting which was jointly signed by the Clerk of the Council, Honorable Odu Faith Eniola, and the Speaker of the Council, Rt. Honorable Omotunde Olamide, students as observers have been encouraged to duly attend the plenary.

“Dear Uites, you are invited to the first ordinary sitting of the council…your presence and contributions as observers will be greatly appreciated”.

Stating the agenda for the sitting, issues such as “swearing-in of co-opted honorable members, an account on the State of the Union, orientation, constitution of standing and ad-hoc committees, presentation of the year plan of the union, presentation of plans and budget for the freshers welcome week, running cost of the union, presentation of plans and budget of UISU ventures and constituency reports” among others, have been highlighted as key concerns.
