AFFIRM Woman To Hold International Female Students Conference

An International Female Students Conference convened by AFFIRM Woman, a non-profit arm of AFFIRM Consulting, Training and Coaching, has been slated to hold on the 16th of September 2023 at the Dominican University, Samonda, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The conference, which aims to improve the welfare of women in academics covers a wide range of students in various institutions of higher learning and staff likewise. It is aimed at helping participants accomplish more in their pursuit and respective fields.

The event also aims to discuss crucial welfare topics, such as the challenges women face in universities and other tertiary institutions, as well as providing solutions to these challenges.

Speakers at the conference include Financial Literacy and Resilience Coach, Dr Abimbola Abdurrahman Lekki; former Dean of the Faculty of Law and the Deputy Vice- chancellor of the University of Lagos, Professor Ayodele Atsenuwa; and a lecturer from the Department of Archeology and Anthropology in the University of Ibadan, Dr Chinyere Ukpokolo.

The conference promises empowerment of young ladies, networking of like-minded individuals, mentorship opportunities as well as gifts and prizes in fun competitions.
