Honourable Otuoke Aquah, representing Falase Post Graduate Hall, at the emergency sitting of the UI’SRC on 12th April, 2024 has implored the House to reach out to other stakeholders of the University to join in the fight against the fee increment.

Hon. Otuoke clarified that there were four major stakeholders in the University; the students, the management, parents, the alumni and then others.

He asked that the executive leadership of the Union reach out to parents to get them on the side of the students.

The Honorable also asked that the Union reach out to alumni concerning the issue, to garner support and bring them to understanding.

He mentioned that a coalition needs to be formed between these various stakeholders, while also making use of other means such as the press and an earlier mentioned petition.
