Stanbic IBTC, an investment banking franchise in Nigeria is set to host “InvestBeta”, an initiative to improve financial literacy among young adults.
The event will be held on Thursday, June 20th, 2024, at the Dame Edith Okowa Auditorium (Alumni Hall), University of Ibadan.
Participants will have the opportunity to compete in a game show, where they can win a slice of one million naira.
The event, according to its organizers, will feature a variety of talent exhibitions, including musical and dance performances, and games.
The game show will also offer engaging quiz-style challenges covering various critical financial segments, on savings, budgeting, investments, and retirement planning.
The Executive Director, of Business Development at Stanbic IBTC Asset Management, Mrs. Yinka Johnson in an interview earlier in April had explained that the initiative, campus play, was innovated to instill the right financial behaviour among youths.
“We are excited about the immense possibilities of this project and remain committed to enriching lives by promoting financial inclusion and literacy in Nigeria,” Mrs. Johnson said.
