The Students’ Representative Council, University of Ibadan on Saturday, 22nd of June, 2024, has approved forty-four thousand, six hundred and twenty-five naira (₦44,625) as the valedictory budget for the 10th Assembly.

The approval was given during the council’s first ordinary sitting at the SRC Chamber, Kunle Adepeju Memorial Students’ Union Building.

The approved budget encompasses expenses for “certificate design, printing, photographer’s service, miscellaneous cost, and picture frames for the Speaker, Principal Officers, and all Honourables”.

The approved budget differs widely from the proposed budget, which was one hundred and fifty-two thousand, two hundred and fifty naira (152,250).
