Adedeji Gbolahan Peculiar, a 300-level student of Religious Studies, has emerged as the Administrator General-elect of the Great Independence Hall of Residence with a total of 265 votes on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

His emergence as the Administrator General-elect of the hall was announced by the Katanga Republic Independent Electoral Commission, following the conclusion of the hall’s election, held at Indy cafeteria.

Other candidates were also elected into the Executive Council.

The positions of Defense Commissioner, Secretary of State, Financial Secretary, and Health Commissioner are currently vacant. They will be filled through a bye-election.
