The Administrator-General of the Great Independence Hall of Residence, Olaniyan Olamilekan Ibrahim, has explained the reason for the failure to disburse the hall dues package.
During the plenary sitting of the Great Independence Hall Legislative Council (13th Assembly), the Administrator-General explained that an error in the printing of the hall book was the reason for the delay.
The Administrator-General noted the availability of the hall shirts while assuring that the hall books would be made available soon.
Olamilekan Ibrahim assured that the graduating students of the hall would receive their package before their final departure, while stating that staylites would receive theirs at any point in time.
“To be honest, the books were meant to have arrived two weeks ago. What happened was that they had already printed some, but the problem was that the names we submitted had changed — the Hall Master’s name and the Supervisor’s name.”
“The Hall Warden said the current Hall Master would think it was an insult to have the former Hall Master’s name instead of his. That was why I told the printer to reprint it,” Olamilekan Ibrahim clarified.
