The University of Ibadan Students’ Union has informed students about its ongoing dialogue with school authorities regarding the increment in school fees.
In a memorandum addressed to the student community on Monday, April 21, 2025, the Students’ Union Executive Council gave assurance that it is addressing the concerns raised by students over the increased fees.
Co-signed by the Students’ Union President, Covenant Odedele, and the General Secretary, Segun Olowu, the Students’ Union promised to keep students informed about the outcome of its ongoing dialogue.
“We are currently engaging in dialogue with the relevant school authorities to seek viable solutions that are in the best interest of our students. We want to assure all students that we are taking these matters seriously, and we urge all affected students to remain calm as we work towards a resolution,” the Students’ Union Executive Council wrote.
