The Students’ Representative Council, University of Ibadan Students’ Union, has ratified that a general meeting of students, otherwise called congress, be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

The Congress, which was approved by the 12th Assembly, after a debate on the floor of the Council, is meant to address fee concerns.

The approval for the Congress was motioned for at the ongoing first ordinary sitting of the 12th Assembly.

The House advised the Students’ Union Public Relations Officer, Adekanmbi Ezekiel, to ensure adequate publicity for the Congress.
