The 2025 SEALS Cup kicked off in exciting fashion as ASSE and KHE played out an exciting 2-2 draw in the opening match of the female category.

ASSE started strongly, applying early pressure on KHE. However, KHE responded with a well-taken free-kick goal from Favour. ASSE’s Esther later found the equalizer, bringing the first half to a close at 1-1.

Shortly after the break, the outstanding Favour struck again, converting a precise cross to restore KHE’s lead. ASSE continued to push forward and eventually leveled the score after a series of missed opportunities.

Despite ASSE’s late dominance, they were repeatedly denied a winning goal by KHE’s exceptional goalkeeper, whose crucial saves kept her team in the game.

In the end, both sides had to settle for a point apiece in a match full of tight competition.
