A fallen tree currently obstructs the road linking Jaja Health Centre and the Department of Aquaculture at the University of Ibadan, impeding smooth passage for road users.

The tree lies across a section of the road and poses potential hazards to pedestrians, motorists, and cyclists, IndyPress can report.

A student who spoke with IndyPress expressed concern, “This is not okay at all. We shouldn’t be scared of using our roads whenever it rains.”

Efforts to obtain comments from the Students’ Union House Secretary, Adeyemi Oluwaseun, were unsuccessful as of press time.

The affected road, located near El-Kanemi Road, serves as a connector between several key locations on campus, including Access Bank and Queen Elizabeth II Hall of Residence, among others.
