UI College of Medicine Building Project Completed, Sponsored by Alumnus

The Philip O. Ozuah Building (Block C), the first of the six blocks of the students’ hostel projects donated to the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, by the Ibadan College of Medicine Alumni Association Worldwide (ICOMAA-WW), class of ’85, has been completed.

The newly completed block was donated by an alumnus, Dr. Phillip O. Ozuah, a member of the class of ‘85 and President of Montefiore Medicine, New York.

Speaking, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Professor Adebowale, appreciated Dr. Phillip for his contribution to medical education, describing it as a pride to the university.

The Vice-Chancellor also described the donation as an empowerment of the future medical professionals while charging the students to maintain responsible utilization of the building facilities.

Paying tribute to the class of 1985, the donor, Dr. Phillip, expressed appreciation to personalities at the event for being instrumental to his successful career.

Dr. Philip further appreciated his family for sacrifices made in support to his career while commending the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Professor Adebowale, and Provost of College of Medicine for their contribution to academic leadership.
