Ten days after the last held, June 7 sanitation exercise, accumulated waste within the Great Independence Hall of Residence, has finally been cleared, IndyPress reports.
IndyPress had earlier reported about the unattended waste, which raised health and environmental concerns among residents.
The waste within the hall was observed to have been disposed of on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

While the hall’s interior waste has been cleared, the refuse site adjacent to C-Block still stands as a visual blight and a threat to public health.

Efforts to obtain comments from the Health Commissioner of Indy Hall, Ojo Precious, regarding the development were unsuccessful as of press time.
