The Students’ Union leadership of the University of Ibadan has informed the student community about the extension of fees payment deadline to Friday, June 27, 2025.
The Students’ Union Executive Committee disclosed this in a memo jointly signed by the Students’ Union President, Covenant Odedele, and General Secretary, Segun Victor Olowu on Monday, June 23, 2025.
According to the Students’ Union leadership, the deadline extension was reached after an engagement with the university management.
The Students’ Union Executive Committee advised students not to only maximize the extension, but ensure to complete their course registrations, describing it as vital to their studentship.
The Students’ Union leadership also charged student representatives at Faculties, Departments and Halls of Residence to address challenges affecting students in the course of the exercise.
The Union further advised students affected by NELFUND-related issues to visit ITEMS or NElFUND Support Office, situated at the Niser Digital Park, along Faculty of Technology road for solution.
“We want to announce that following renewed engagement with the school management, we secured a final extension of one week for the payment of fees and course registration. The new and final deadline for payment will now be Friday, June, 27, 2025,” the Students’ Union Executive Committee wrote.
“Students who may be experiencing difficulties understanding what courses to register for or making payments through their portals are advised to reach out to their Departmental Executives or visit ITEMS Office and/or the NelFUND Support Office at NCC Digital Park along Tech Road,” it added.
