‘Team Altruism’ Assures Indy Hall D-Block Residents of Electricity Restoration

The Executive Council of the Great Independence Hall of Residence, University of Ibadan, has on Thursday, August 21, 2025, assured the residents of Indy Hall D-Block Constituency of electricity restoration to their affected block.

Team Altruism made the  assurance in a broadcast co-signed by Indy Hall House Secretary, Chisom Obinelo, and Public Relations Officer, Oladapo Salvador.

The Executive Council further stated that the concerned stakeholders have been contacted, assuring affected Katangites of a permanent solution to the current electricity disconnection.

Team Altruism extended an apology to the affected residents while acknowledging the inconvenience the outage may have caused.

“We’d like to provide an update on the power outage that occurred in D Block last night. The issue has been identified, and we have contacted the utility provider, USLB, to assess the situation and implement a permanent solution,” Team Altruism wrote.

“We understand that the timing is inconvenient, especially with project deadlines approaching. We appreciate your patience and support as our team works to resolve this as quickly and efficiently as possible.We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. The welfare of our residents is our top priority,” it added.
