The Great Independence of Residence, University of Ibadan, is set to hold a Congress on Saturday, September 6, 2025,  at the  hall’s quadrangle, IndyPress reports.

According to a memorandum co-signed by the Administrator General of the hall, Adedeji Peculiar, and  Secretary of State, Olaniyi Abiola, the Congress is intended to address critical issues(not stated) affecting the student residents.

“The purpose of this assembly is to address critical issues pertaining to the welfare of residents and to deliberate on strategic matters that will foster progress and unity within the hall,” Team Altruism wrote.

Team Altruism  further encouraged the student residents to actively participate in the Congress,  while emphasizing its significance.
