The University of Ibadan Students’ Union is set to hold a town hall meeting on Friday, September 5, 2025.
The town hall meeting, which is scheduled to take place at the SRC Chamber at 3:00 p.m., is intended to address issues affecting the student community.
The Union , in a memorandum co-signed by the Students’ Union President, Covenant Odedele, and General Secretary, Segun Olowu, encouraged student leaders across halls of residence, faculties, departments and student organizations to attend the meeting.
“The University of Ibadan Students’ Union Executive Council calls upon all student leaders to another town hall meeting scheduled to hold this Friday,” the Union wrote.
“As the central representative body for all students, the Union finds it necessary to engage with leadership across faculties, departments, and halls of residence to deliberate on issues affecting our student body. This is to collectively address, re-evaluate, and restrategise on our collective goals as a Union for the rest of the session,” it added.
The Union further advised Faculty Presidents and Hall Chairpersons to attend the meeting with two members of their Executive Councils.
