The Great Independence Hall of Residence, University of Ibadan, is set to hold a town hall meeting on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

According to a memorandum co-signed by the Administrator of the Hall, Peculiar Adedeji, and Secretary of State, Olaniyi Abiola, the town hall meeting is intended to address the state of the hall, the unveiling of the new hall merchandise, and other issues affecting the hall.

Team Altruism, Adedeji Peculiar-led Executive Council, further described the meeting as a platform for transparency and collective decision-making process.

“Greatest Katangites. This is to notify us of a town hall meeting to discuss important matters concerning our hall community. This meeting is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025 by 4:00 PM prompt at the hall quangrangle,” Team Altruism wrote.

“This meeting is a crucial platform for transparency and collective decision-making. Your presence and contributions are highly valued as we work together for the betterment of the hall,” it added.
