The Legislative Council of the Great Independence Hall of Residence, University of Ibadan, is set to hold its third emergency sitting on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

According to a memorandum co-signed by the Speaker of the Council, Hon. Gbadebo Adegbola David, and the Clerk, Hon. Matthew Ugochukwu, the sitting is intended to address the alleged financial misconduct levelled against the Administrator General of the Hall, Peculiar Adedeji, the Defense Commissioner’ case , Audit Committee report, among others.

The emergency sitting is scheduled for 3PM at the  hall’s Junior Common Room.
