The Legislative Council of the Great Independence Hall of Residence, University of Ibadan, has disclosed the names of the defacers of the hall’s public places, IndyPress reports.

The names of the characters were contained in the Council’s resolution of its third ordinary sitting.

The defacers include Aribike Victor(Coupon), Bankole Caleb (#), Theonesky, Mentor, Shotan Joshua(The Link) James Adeola (Elevistal), Olaniyan Abdulsamad (Capacity), and Mhizita from Kenneth Mellanby Hall.

The defaulters were given 72 hours to pay #1000 fine each as a disciplinary sanction and remove their respective posters during the Council’s third ordinary sitting held on Friday, October 10, 2025.

However, IndyPress observed that some of the defacers are yet to remove their respective posters as of the time of filling this report.
