The Administrator of the Great Independence Hall of Residence, Peculiar Adedeji, has clarified that the complete renovation of the hall’s field, San Siro, is still ongoing.

Peculiar Adedeji disclosed this in an interview with IndyPress on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

Recall that Team Altruism, on October 12, 2025, declared the disclosure of the field for two weeks, stating the need for its complete renovation.

“We are still working on the San Siro field. It is being attended to. The hall management is also working with us.” Peculiar Adedeji said.

No renovation has begun more than two weeks after the closure of the field, IndyPress observed.
