Baba Daadaa: The Savior of Immortal Hostel

WARNING: In English, this is called a satire

Before Baba Daadaa came to Immortal Hostel, life here was terrible. The toilets were so bad that no one could even use them without gagging. So fetid to the extent that you could smell them from 1000 miles.

The rooms were worse. Some kitchenettes had been turned into living rooms, and bedbugs seemed to have claimed the place as their own. Comfort, cleanliness, and common sense were nowhere to be found.

Then Baba Daadaa arrived. And everything changed. The hell fire of our hostel became a paradise. Suddenly, the hostel felt like a place where human beings could actually live. Accommodation became fair. Students no longer had to beg or lobby for rooms every session. Fines, which used to appear out of nowhere, were stopped. The rules were reasonably enforced. Life became normal and pleasant.

The restrooms, in particular, were a miracle. Where once a trip to the toilet felt like a dangerous journey, now they are clean and usable. Residents no longer had to walk long distances to relieve themselves in another location. Showers worked. The availability of water became consistent.

Rooms also improved. Bedbugs, the unofficial mascots of the hostel, disappeared. The floors were clean. The furniture was functional. Windows opened. Doors closed. Students could finally sleep without fearing bites or crawling insects. What was once a place of horror has now become a livable space. It is like stepping into a completely different hostel, one that smells of bleach instead of despair.

Baba Daadaa really restored sanity within our hostel. He made the hostel functional and safe. Students could finally focus on studies instead of survival. He reminded everyone that a hostel is for living, not suffering. The transformation was so clear that our hostel became the best living arena on campus.

In short, Baba Daadaa saved Immortal Hostel. Toilets became toilets again. Rooms became rooms again. Life became livable. And while the tenure of his predecessor will be remembered as a period of struggle, Baba Dadaa’s tenure will be remembered as a period of renewed hope.

So, let’s celebrate Baba Daadaa, the man who turned a hostel from a nightmare into a home. As he concludes his tenure, we, the residents of the Immortal Hostel, give three gbosas for him, gbosa! gbosa!! gbosa!!!
