The University of Ibadan has, on Monday, March 2, 2026, moved the Physical Orientation for Freshers from Tuesday, March 3 to Monday, March 9, 2026.

This development was disclosed in a broadcast message by the University of Ibadan Students’ union on Monday evening.

“This is to formally inform all newly admitted students of the University of Ibadan that there has been a slight adjustment to the schedule of the formal entry programs,” Team Diligent wrote.

According to the broadcast message, the two-day physical orientation has been rescheduled for Monday, March 9, and Tuesday, March 10, 2026, while the matriculation was dated Wednesday, March 11,2026.

The broadcasted message also stressed the punctuality and availability of freshers for the programs.

“All fresh students are strongly advised to be present and punctual, as these programs are foundational to your academic journey within the University,”

It also added that details on the venue for the orientation and commencement times will be communicated through official channels.
