The University of Ibadan Students’ Representative Council (SRC) is set to hold its valedictory sitting for the 12th Assembly led by Rt. Hon. Shoge Quadri Olaoluwa, while inaugurating members of the 13th Assembly.

This was disclosed in a memorandum co-signed by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Shoge Quadri Olaoluwa, and the Clerk, Hon. Adedeji Praise, on Saturday, March 7, 2026.

“This is to notify all Honourable Members of the Students’ Representative Council that this sitting of the Council will hold as scheduled below,” the statement read.

According to the memorandum, the sitting is scheduled to hold at the Student Union Building on Saturday, March 7, 2026, by 10 AM

Despite the valedictory sitting being scheduled for 10 AM, as of the time of filling this report, the sitting is yet to commence.

The agenda for the sitting includes:

Dissolution of the 12th Assembly of the Students’ Representative Council.

Inaugural sitting of the 13th Assembly and election of principal officers.
