The Great Independence Hall of Residence Press Organization, University of Ibadan, released its 2024/2025 press night results on Monday, February 24, 2025.

The 2023/2024 academic session press night, held at the hall’s Junior Common Room (JCR) was attended by campus journalists from different local press organizations.

There was the special appearance of the Union of Campus Journalists Editor-in-chief and Vice President Administration, Tijani Kabeer and Oyekola Muiz respectively.

Welcoming participants at the gathering, the Editor-in-Chief of IndyPress Organization, Aduwo Ayodele, explained that the essence of the engagement was to evaluate plans and visions of aspirants vying for leadership positions within the hall.

“The essence of this press night is to thoroughly assess the plans of the candidates, aiming to fill the leadership positions in the hall. At the end of the day, it is my hope that the evaluation reflects the true picture of the candidates” Ayodele Aduwo said.
