The Students’ Representative Council of the University of Ibadan will hold its first emergency sitting on Saturday, April 5, 2025, IndyPress reports.

The 12th Assembly made this announcement in a memorandum co-signed by two principal officers of the Council, Shoge Quadri and Adedeji Praise.

The sitting, scheduled to address the proposed increment in basic dues by the Council of Hall Chairpersons and Faculty Presidents, will be held virtually on Google Meet.

“This is to formally notify you of the first emergency meeting of the University of Ibadan Students’ Union Students’ Representative Council. Your punctuality and active participation are critical to reaching a thorough and unified decision,” the Council wrote.
