Indy Hall Acquires New Public Address System, Donated by Alumni

The Great Independence Hall of Residence, University of Ibadan, has acquired a new public address system to enhance communication among student residents.

The system was generously donated by alumni of the hall, in a bid to improve communication within the hall.

Speaking, an alumnus of the hall noted that the donation was made to foster better communication and information dissemination among Katangites.

Shortly after the system was installed, the Hall Warden, Dr. Adejumobi, addressed the residents, expressing his gratitude to the Indy Hall alumni for their thoughtful contribution.

He also appreciated the student residents for their support and commitment to the successful execution of the initiative.

In an interview with IndyPress, the Public Relations Officer of Indy Hall, Oladapo Salvador, affirmed that the new public address system is intended for student use.

He emphasized its role in improving communication within the hall.

Oladapo said, “I am very glad. For quite a while, we’ve been working on this, and I’m happy we were able to bring it to fulfillment this session.”

“Going forward, we now have a better way of making announcements. Look forward to exciting initiatives like podcasts, guest speaker sessions, and even talk shows. The public address system is for student use,” he added.
