Recall that the first phase of the solar installation addressed lighting in the A and B-Block Constituencies of the hall
In an interview with IndyPress on June 10, 2025, the Administrator General of Indy Hall, Peculiar Adedeji explained that the hall was awaiting financial approval from the Students’ Affair Division to implement the second phase of the installation project.
As observed by IndyPress, the solar panels, which only addressed lighting in corridors and restroom gents within the hall, have been installed in the both C and D-Block Constituencies of the hall.
Reacting, Taofeek, a resident of C-Block Constituency said,”I am excited personally because it was not something we were initially expecting. I thought there was no plan to install solar in C-Block after they completed the installation in A and B-Blocks. I am really very excited.”
