The management of the University of Ibadan has reopened the student portal for students who may be interested in adding or deleting any courses initially registered for the 2024/2025 second semester, IndyPress reports.

As contained on the university’s student portal, the window for the course modifications  is open from 8th  to 29th of September, 2025.

Interested students have been advised to consult their level advisers for proper guidance on what course to add and delete.

“The platform is re-open for add and delete of course from Monday, 08 September 2025 to Friday, 29 September 2025,” UI management wrote.

“Kindly note that only courses that are offered in the second semester are available to add or delete. If a second semester course is not in the drop down, please contact the course owner (department). The course will need to be mapped to the second semester on the registration portal.”

“Students are advised to seek necessary guidance from the level adviser on the course to add or delete.”

The management further emphasized that all course modifications must receive departmental approval.

It warned,”Your add or delete course must be approved by the course’s owner HOD, as well as your department HOD, faculty officer and the Dean of your faculty. A reprint of the course registration form is required after the HOD, faculty officer, Dean of the courses and ADPU have approved.”
