A two-page proposed budget by the Indy Hall Executive Council (Team Altruism) has revealed the Council’s intention to spend a sum of three hundred and thirty-five thousand naira on the Independence Hall Day event scheduled for October 1, 2025, IndyPress reports.

The proposed budget, as of the time of filling this report, had been referred to the Audit Committee of Indy Hall Legislative Council (14th Assembly) for a review during  the Council’s second ordinary sitting held on Monday, September 15, 2025.

The budget is intended to cover certain expenses including “vehicle for rally at #60,000, DJ and sound at #170,000, fueling of the generator for the rally at #15,000, face arts and design at #90,000.

The budget is yet to be ratified by Hon. Gbadebo David-led Legislative Council.
