The University of Ibadan Students’ Representative Council (SRC) has approved the Judicial Council Establishment Bill and resolved to forward it to the University Senate for final ratification after necessary corrections.

The resolution was reached during the Rt. Hon. Shoge Quadri-led legislative council’s ninth emergency sitting held virtually on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

The Speaker adopted the bill at 6:50 p.m.
