The University of Ibadan has concluded arrangements to grant an audience to a grantee from ‘The Electoral Hub’, which is an affiliate of the Initiative for Research, Innovation, and Advocacy.
The Electoral Hub is a non- governmental organisation known for promoting electoral knowledge, accountability, and integrity.
The Electoral Hub “is a multidisciplinary strategic think-tank aimed at strengthening electoral governance and accountant in Nigeria through the provision of data, critical and contextualized analysis, and solutions to improve the credibility and integrity of the electoral process”.
According to a public statement by the Deputy Registrar and Head, Directorate of Public Communication, UI, Mrs. Adejoke Akinpelu on Monday, July 8, 2024, the “visit is expected to foster a deeper understanding of the electoral process and enhance the integrity of elections in Nigeria”.
“The visit will also afford the organisation the opportunity to present its work and share work knowledge products with the UI audience,” the statement added.
The visitation, according to the Directorate of Public Communication, facilitated by the Africa Office of the MacArthur Foundation, Abuja, will hold on Thursday 18 July 2024 at the University campus.
