The Leeds University Nigeria Alumni and a committee of friends will on Saturday 13th July, 2024, hold a 1-day celebration for the 90th birthday of Professor Wole Soyinka, foremost Nigerian literary icon.

The celebration is slated to hold at Drapers Hall, Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan, from 12 pm to 5 pm.

This is in addition to the premiere of ‘Ebrohimie Road; a Museum of Memories’ which held at Drapers Hall yesterday, and the second screening of the same film which would hold today, Friday 12th July, 2024 at Professor Wole Soyinka’s former residence while he was a lecturer.
