He submitted that in the long run, real factors such as technological progress and changes in taste are likely to be vital to export growth, suggesting that as much as possible and clearly consistent with economics theory, the long run should be factored into design and policy implementation.

The organization further argued that the University’s approach appeared to be a deliberate attempt at intimidation, insisting that institutions of learning should focus on easing access to education rather than punishing dissent.

The event, according to Sigma Club, will be graced by dignitaries including Dr. Karl Toriola, CEO of MTN Nigeria, as the guest speaker, and Engr. Seyi Makinde, Governor of Oyo State. 

The unveiling of the signage of the Suraj Adesina Research and Development Centre and commemorative plaque was done by the Vice-Chancellor with the support of the benefactor, Alhaja Aminat Adesina.

The Students’ Union Executive Committee advised students not to only maximize the extension, but ensure to complete their course registrations, describing it as vital to their studentship.

Peace Oyerinde, the fourth speaker of the day, addressed the topic ‘Chasing Passion, Telling Stories, Building Brands and Earning Income’. The final speaker, Oyindamola Osinubi, returned to speak on ‘Staying Ready and Relevant in the World of Work’.
