Describing this year’s edition of the intervarsity debate, Amnesty International stated that it was competitive, as it featured many universities across Nigeria.

The event also featured traditional music performance by the Kegites Club of Nigeria, University of Ibadan.

The first and second legs of the competition for the hall category are scheduled for September 16 and 19, respectively, while the faculty category matches are set for September 18 and 21, 2025.
