Olugbenga Ogunbowale, a social entepreneur and Team Lead at GrantMasters, asked this question while delivering a speech on the topic, “Five Habits of Excellent Entrepreneurs’’ at the THINK BIG 5.0 Leadership and Networking Conference. The conference, which was organised by the Christ Ambassadors Students’ Outreach (CASOR) Business College, was held at the Institute for Peace and Strategic Studies, University of Ibadan on Saturday, 2nd October 2021.
Mr. Olugbenga Ogunbowale, the first speaker at the event, emphasised on the fact that solving problems that people are ready and willing to pay for defines entrepreneurship, among other qualities such as being informed and impact-driven that make a successful entrepreneur.
The Dean of the CASOR Business College, Mr Benedict Godwin while giving his welcome address noted that THINK BIG, which is in its fifth year, has over the years, shifted students from mediocre thinking to literally thinking big about their aspirations.
The event, which witnessed six speakers namely – Mr. Olugbenga Ogunbowale, Dr. Nkedilim Uwaje Begho, Dr Ruth Adio-Moses, Ezinne Eke, Adeoluwa Iterogba and James Okpare – saw the speakers give speeches on topics ranging from Digital Transformation and the Future of work, to Entrepreneurship and Maximizing Opportunities to Risk Management and Analysis.
THINK BIG 5.0 also featured networking sessions and conversations among the participants on business ideas and choosing their narratives.
