With the increase in the world’s population, there is a need for an increase in manpower within the health care industry. In the past, some countries accommodated a lot of health workers, including medical doctors and nurses.

However, in recent years, it has been discovered that the increase in health workers would not be  enough to solve health crises, prompting the application of technological sophistication like Artificial Intelligence as the alternative medical aid to shape the health care system.

Artificial Intelligence, abbreviated as AI, is one of the world’s fastest growing phenomena which has contributed significantly to the world’s socio and economic growth bringing possibilities into a world full of impossibilities.

Artificial Intelligence has imparted every institution of life in ways that are not usual. Although the health care sector is very technical and versatile, AI has found its way into it with more precision and concise impacts. AI and robotics are transforming the medical profession by augmenting doctors’ capabilities in diagnostics, research, and surgery.

It is no longer news that there are robots that now perform surgery or help in surgery operations. Interestingly, presently as students in a developed tertiary institution, you no longer need to stay in clinic for 12hours, you can now be in the comfort of your room in your hostel and diagnose your illness with reliable AI soft wares.

It is important to establish that Artificial Intelligence spans more than just the software, it spans into the being of humans. Our existence as a human being starts from our intelligence. This is, the way you think and the way every single person thinks, which is very much different and unique. This connotes that no single human being thinks the same way, even the most identical twin.

Artificial intelligence is a replica of the human intelligence, although the issue is that this replica is artificial, therefore its intelligence is incomparable to ours as humans although its information and knowledge capacity has effectively and efficiently evolved over the years.

Its evolution shows that its more than a software since the evolution is normally found in living things as discovered by biological disciplines.

Artificial Intelligence is artificial, therefore its intelligence is limited .Even though its knowledge bank has been found to be growing exponentially, it is superseded by human intelligence. Hence, we as humans have a lot of roles to play in this generation. In the hope of a better world, we all have a lot of roles to play in the health care industries with the use of AI and its advancement from right feeding habits to healthy daily habits.

Therefore, as individuals, we should always remember that we are the only one to make the world a better place. Making the world a better place hinges on the choices we make. It is about saving our own lives by choosing to be responsible with the positive use of Artificial Intelligence
