#congress: UI Students Ask Aweda To Resign

The students of University of Ibadan during the Congress on Saturday, 17th of August, 2024, has asked the student Union President, Aweda Bolaji to resign.

The students told him to resign if he cannot address the issue of fee increment.

A student, Michael further said it is better not to have a union government than to have one who cannot address the issues affecting students on campus.

“What we have is not a student union but the children of UI management,” he said.

“Mr President, if you know you cannot address the fee increment, please resign,” the students added.
