The Legislative Council of the Great Independence Hall of Residence is set to hold its third ordinary sitting for the session.

This was disclosed in a memorandum co-signed by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Abdulmatin A. Gbadegesin, and the House Clerk, Hon. Ibrahim O. Bello on Friday, May 15, 2026.

According to the notice, the sitting is scheduled to hold on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 7PM at the Indy Hall Junior Common Room (JCR).

The agenda for the meeting includes an opening prayer, opening remarks, the reading and adoption of the minutes of the last sitting, and the report of the executive office.

Other activities include the consideration of bills, after which any other business will be addressed.

Honourable members are advised to be seated before the commencement sitting while interested attendees are also invited.
