“Exercise Patience, Congress Will Hold,” – SU President, Aweda Bolaji Assures

About one hundred and twenty students of the University of Ibadan are currently gathered at the Students’ Union building in anticipation of a Congress, scheduled to take place today, August 17, 2024, INDYPRESS reports.

The congress, which was called to address fee increment, will commence once the required 500 quorum as stipulated by the Students’ Union constitution is formed.

Students’ Union President, Aweda Bolaji has urged the students who had been painstakingly waiting to be patient, while assuring them that the congress will commence soon.

“Please exercise patience. Other students are on their way. By the time the five hundred persons quorum is met, we will start the congress,” the President said.
