Along Barth road, University of Ibadan, is a fallen tree, which has been obstructing easy movement of road users.
The tree which lays over a segment of the road is also liable to cause hazards for all kinds of road users, IndyPress can report.
A wayfarer who plied the route informed IndyPress that the condition of the tree has been in its state since Sunday, October 27, 2024.

“I think the tree fell after the heavy rain that fell between Saturday and Sunday,” he said.
Emmanuel, the student who spoke with IndyPress, called for the immediate removal of the tree from the road, while stating that the narrowness caused by the fall of the tree poses danger.
“They should find something to do about it. The road is narrow,” he said.
In an interview with IndyPress, the Students’ Union House Secretary, Elemide Daniel stated that the management is aware of the development, while assuring that the tree will be removed.
“But I’m aware. The management is aware of the issue and the tree will be properly removed by them,” Elemide said.
Barth Road is situated along Access Bank site, University of Ibadan.
