The Federal Government on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, assured that all tertiary institutions in the country will benefit from mini-grids distribution by 2026.
The Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, disclosed this during the inauguration of a newly constructed Olatunji Bello Auditorium at the Lagos State University, Epe Campus.
The essence of the prospective provision of the mini-grids, according to Tunji Alausa, is to make tertiary institutions in Nigeria energy sufficient.
Tunji Alausa further described the promised mini-grids as a commitment by the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed, to students and tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
