The University of Ibadan Students’ Union President, Covenant Odedele, has said that the management of the University of Ibadan has been making efforts to ensure that Williams Paul, a 400-level student from the Department of Archeology and Anthropology, who was earlier declared missing on October 22, 2025, is found.
Covenant Odedele disclosed this in an interview with IndyPress on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
The Students’ Union President confirmed that the case of the missing student has been reported to security personnel.
He further explained that efforts towards ensuring that the missing character is found are being made.
“The University management has taken it up. They have filed a report to the security officials. We are still making efforts to find him,” Covenant Odedele, UI’SU President told IndyPress.
“One thing we have been able to confirm is that he left the school premises but we don’t know where he went to. That is the only update. For now there is no any other update about that,” he added.
Williams Paul, according to a broadcast earlier shared, was last seen on October 6, 2025, at Sultan Bello Hall Cafeteria.
