The Great Independence Hall Press Organisation has released the 2024/2025 press night results on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

The event, which was held at Independence Hall Junior Common Room (JCR), commenced at 2:30 PM

In attendance were campus journalists from local press organizations such as AFAS Press, Mellanby Press, UIMSA Press, NUESA Press, among others.

Speaking at the event, the Editor-in-Chief of IndyPress Organization, Gbayesola Samuel, described the purpose of the press night as an avenue to assess plans and visions of aspirants of Executive positions within the hall.

“The press night is an avenue for your plans to be weighed and properly communicated to the residents of Katanga”, Mr Samuel told aspirants.
