The 13th Assembly of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC), University of Ibadan has announced an emergency meeting to address “urgent matters” requiring immediate legislative attention.

This was disclosed in a memorandum co-signed by the UI SRC Speaker, Rt. Hon. John Oludele and the Clerk, Hon. Obi Chiamaka Joan on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

According to the memo, the sitting is scheduled to be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the SRC Chamber, Kunle Adepeju Building, University of Ibadan, by 7PM.

The agenda for the emergency meeting includes the State of Union, Audit Committee Report and Any Other Business(AOB).

It added that attendees can dress causally to the sitting and are expected to be punctual.

“Your prompt attendance and active participation are highly required, as matters of importance will be discussed and resolved,” the memo stated.
