As part of activities lined up for the 2021 Indy Hall week, the Literary and Debating Society of the Hall hosted an Inter-hall oratory contest and an Inter-Block debate competition today, Monday, 13th December, 2021 at the Indy Hall Cafeteria.
At the end of the Inter-hall contest, Queen Idia Hall represented by Omitola Seun emerged winner of the oratory contest, Lord Tedder Hall represented by Ademola Idowu finished as second position and the host, the Great Independence Hall represented by Covenant Odedele, placed third.
Obafemi Awolowo Hall and Queen Elizabeth II Hall finished in the fourth and fifth positions respectively.
Meanwhile, Block B, represented by John Eriomala and Oyewole Praise, emerged winner of the Inter-block competition ahead of block C represented by Sulaimon Eyinade and Justice Orekeyi.
The event had in attendance Katangites as well as students from across other hall of residence.
