Three thousand seven hundred and forty-nine candidates are expected to participate in the 2023/2024 Matriculation Ceremony,.which is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 23rd April, 2024.

The programme which has been organized for candidates who have been granted admission by the University of Ibadan is expected to be virtual, as participants are to join online at 10 a.m.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor K. O. Adebowale, will declare the Matriculation Ceremony open and deliver an address.

A Matriculation Lecture entitled “Harnessing the Giant in You for Giant Strides” will be delivered by Dr. Victor T. Alabi, of the Centre for Language Studies, Brown University, U.S.A.

The Registrar, Mr. G. O Saliu will administer the Matriculation Declaration/Oath on the matriculants.
